2017 Cybersecurity and Computer Programming Summer Camp at ODU is funded by the NASA Virginia Space Grant Consortium. Our summer camp provides cybersecurity and programming experiences for middle school students (rising 6-8th graders).


The goals of our summer camp are to help participants understand correct and safe on-line behavior, teach them important cyber defense skills through hands-on instruction and activities, learn the basics of computer programming, increase diversity and interest in cybersecurity and information technology.

Our camp will recruit 40 middle school students (rising 6-8th graders) to learn about cybersecurity and computer programming, develop interest in cybersecurity and acquire cybersecurity knowledge and hands-on skills. The summer camp takes place on Old Dominion University's Main Campus in Norfolk, Virginia. The location is 1010 Constant Hall, Strome College of Business at ODU.
